Do you think Yzerman buries him, like Ericsson?

im done with mantha away from larkin, he looks lost out there especially. I still want AA back at center to see if that jump starts him a little, play him with hirose and helm I guess and just let them skate as fast as they can

I think Glendening is a trade candidate, and Abdelkader is the 13th F. When that happens is just a matter of timing. Does it happen when they are off IR, at the TDL, or in between? I will say this about Abdelkader, and the sample size is small, but he's having a significantly better season than the last few years. His best season since 14-15, when he was playing sheltered minutes (almost 60/40 ozone/dzone split in 14-15, 43/57 so far this year).

The problem with Mantha away from Larkin is that they can focus on Mantha because no one on the line is a risk (yet). If AA was scoring, I think AA/Mantha would be fine (and AA will score soon, it's very much coming). When Mantha is with Larkin and Bertuzzi, all 3 of them are dangerous, so you have to defend all 3. There were a few times last night that EDM had 2 people "covering" Mantha (rolling coverage his way), and leaving Fil alone (because he's not a risk to shoot anyway). He'll learn to get through it, it's definitely new to him to have this much attention. It's not a negative either (it would be if they were in a playoff chase).

Helm as well he is starting to earn some of his contract.
