Skinner can’t be moved he has a NTC, Reinhart won’t be moved he’s tight with Eichel (GM Eichel wouldn’t approve of trade lol) Mittelstadt is starting to become who people though he’d be(Need him for 2C), Olofsson is starting to round out but just not yet, still getting use to the NHL

I see Johansson and McCabe fair trade as a 2nd/3rd round pick or a “B” prospect

ok but if someone overpaid you for skinner/reinhart and it benefitted the team I don't think they'd walk away and say that they aren't going to listen to any calls on them. also if history tells us anything its that early in the season the sabres may be competing for 1st overall in the league, but by the end of the year they'll be closer to 1st overall in the draft

Like how the leafs always are in contention for the cup and then get knocked out first round every year? Also again Skinner connor be traded unless he agrees with it which probably won’t due to cap space and the team he would probably be traded to which would be a rebuilding team

I'm a little surprised Olofsson is in Column A. I'm not saying he's bad at all. Just depending on where you think BUF is Cup Contender wise... Victor is a 24 year old rookie that's about to get PAID. Off 1 year of mostly just PP scoring. You need that stuff. None of it's bad. BUF also has the cap space. But maybe just see what he's worth. At Least talk. It's kinda the GM's job to talk anyway.

yes exactly like that. but hey getting in the door is better than getting back down to the pits of the league year in and year out. I hope the sabres do well and grab a wildcard spot, but I can't stand how cocky the fans are getting (I'm aware that I'm apart of one of the cockiest fan bases but I myself am not. I'd be the first to tell u the leafs have been disappointing these past couple of years, and also the first to tell you that Tavares is not a top 5 center, and neither is eichel)

I agree with that, but once he gets use to the 5v5 and knows where to be he will be just fine. He has the skill, the shot, the hustle, he is just not in the right spot yet to be open and get a good shot. He’s just not use to 5v5 play yet.

No way, theyre way more valuable to this team than that. Johansson and Skinner have been carrying that 2nd line and putting up a ton of points while tied to a boat anchor, and I have no idea what McCabe has to do for Sabres fans to respect him. Hes the the hardest clean hitter in the league, he can skate, he can pass, he'll eat the toughest minutes and he can still chip in 20-30 points

I not cocky, I’m just saying lol. Sabres will either finish in the last wildcard spot or just miss contention. They cant keep it going for the whole year. They are such a young team unless the veterans and Eichel can either carry team(probably happen) or they keep buying into Kruegers system). But I do agree Sabres fans are cocky as of right now, but once we get a loss everyone panics (aka. Arizona game)

And Toronto will be eliminated in the first round. The amount of overpay required to get Reinhart or Skinner would make it infeasible for any team to attempt it, therefore they are untouchable

I love McCabe, he’s been through it all thick and thin but there a D that are ready to take McCabes spot (except physically). But I do get where you are coming from. That’s what I just think.

yeah I wasn't calling you cocky just kinda getting fed up with sabres fans in general. heard one guy call eichel better than mackinnon which is absurd. he's not even better than Matthews, and Matthews isn't as good as Nate mack. I really want to root for this team to get a wildcard spot but the fans are making me hope that they tank again.

60 point wingers are fairly expendable if a need has to be filled or if a team throws an unresistable offer. skinner is literally paid 9.5M for 63 points last year I think they'd move him after this strange little run of success if the right offer came around

Yea I agree but having those 3 d men in C is probably not good, I would have them In Fair and have McCabe in C, same with Marcus Johannson...I mean they are Assistant captain. leadership in the sabres right now is not movable tbh...if Casey is LW IMO so should Jokiharju...he is Dahlins long time partner.

Why? Because the sabres roster is built better than the Leafs?
