Namestikov needs to go somewhere and play top minutes to be effective. He could possibly do that in STL with Vlad out but I think there would be better suitors for him. Maybe even EDM

I do not like the Vancouver trade. Boedker is UFA so why take two full seasons of Eriksson to play the 3rd line for $6M a year. If we need to get to the cap floor I'd rather overpay a UFA on a one year deal and move him at the 2020 trade deadline.

I hope Pageau stays but, if not, that return seems about right. Although he'll be HIGHLY coveted and teams in need of a pivot with his PK skills might get into a bidding war.

Puljujarvi is an interesting case. Unless EDM signs him before Dec 1st my bet would be they'd retain his rights unless they get a player that can help them in the playoffs, which this is not.. I do believe it's a fair trade though, and it's a risk for BOTH teams. I just don't see EDM doing it unless it's the best offer they get at the 2020 draft this July.
