Description

I've seen several posts saying to blow it up. Trade Lehner, Crawford, Gus, Keith, Seabrook, Toews, Saad, etc. That's not the right answer. Obviously if we aren't a playoff team we trade Crawford, Gus at the deadline not now. Lehner is our guy. I'll be pissed if we don't resign him. We just need to shoot the freaking puck. Too many times have I see a 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 FOR CHICAGO and instead shooting or going for a wide open cross crease pass, somebody passes backwards *cough*zack smith*hack cough*. HEY ZACK SMITH! YOU SUCK AT HOCKEY! I've like Seabrook being a scratch but we could use his bomb on the PP. Focus on the Special teams lines, rather than the trades or 5v5 lines.

Speech about Fortin
I think we should call him up. He's had some time in Chicago and the dude is so fast! Once a top prospect in Chicago, he's struggled with injuries and consistency but works hard. He should get another shot. It won't hurt anything. He and Caggiula can rotate based on performance.

I don't mean...Blow it up. My intensions are...Don't let a single piece walk away for free. I'm only trading pending UFAs because the Hawks are TIGHT against the cap next year. The Hawks simply have a decent number of pending UFAs.

Yeah, we don't have a goalie. That's exactly why we need to KEEP LEHNER! Gus and Crawford can go I agree with you on that. Lehner HAS to take less than 8 million for the cap to work next year and Seabrook has to go, there is no way around it. Otherwise we have to trade Maatta AND De Haan and they have been top defensemen for us this year so I don't want to do that.
