I think the bigger issue is the money you'd have to move out to make him fit. Moving Kapanen and Ceci for Krieder and Deangelo isn't the worst idea but I agree with you. It would likely cost TO too much and with the salary issue, it would result in moving out other usable pieces to make it fit, it could be either a wash or a net detriment to this lineup that is still meshing.

A lot of Leafs posters trading for Georgiev. Has he been made available? I wouldn't think so given Henrik's age. I would imagine NYR see him as their future #1

Their future starter is their super prospect Shetsyorkin. He's nuts

Dude had a 0.950 save percentage in the KHL last year. 0.942 in 6 gp in the AHL this year

I thought they had another young goalie. Thanks for clarifying. That being said Lundqvist maybe at the end of the road here. Perhaps the Rangers keep Georgiev to split time with Shetsyorkin in the future until he can handle the NHL workload.

It's possible and I would say even probably if Lundy's contract was done this year. But it has another year left and I don't know how long you can keep a guy like that in the A when he's dominating

My fellow NYR fans are crazy for splitting the future possible 1a1b g duo. King hopefully goes to a contender or bought out...

I can't see a contender wanting Lundy. And I cant see him being bought out when he has been the team's rock for like 12 years
