Team Explanation
These are players that I personally think will go into the Hall of Fame eventually that people don't really talk about (at least, to my knowledge). Go for it and argue, I'd love to hear thoughts. (Currently Active)

Williams, Malkin, Bergeron, Thornton and Chara are all HHOF players.

Boyle - Nope
Byfuglien - Not happening
Howard - Not likely
Rinne - No
Crawford - maybe, but thats a long maybe and in a year where your only options are guys that havent gotten in.

Thornton, Bergeron, Malkin and Chara are not sleep picks. With Thornton being a guarantee (somehow didn’t make nhltop100), Bergeron if he wins another selke is in almost unrepeatable company, Malkin yup and Chara I can see likely joining, probably for Williams, and the rest are no’s especially boyle

Crow a long shot? The guy has 2 rings and stood on his head as one of the best goalies in his day.

Williams - not immediately
Boyle - lmao no
Bergeron - yes
Malkin - yes
Thornton - another not immediately, but he will because of his Hart.
Chara - yes
Byfuglein - no
Crawford - probably not, not having a Vezina will hinder his chances (@ChiHawk)
Rinne - unless he wins a cup, no
Howard - no

Byfuglien is incredibly underrated on here it seems. Imo hes kind of a behind the scenes generational talent, definitely deserves a running chance for HHoF

Crawford, Boyle, Byfuglien, Howard, Rinne and more than likely Williams will not make it.

Boyle isn't even an All Star. How on earth is he an HOF'er?

For the goalies, look at the last 5 gaolies who entered the HOF and tell me nay of these guys deserve to be there....

Byfuglien? Good dman but by no means a HOF.

Williams has that intrinsic noteriety that could push him in but it will have to be in a year with no other major star players being inducted or else he'll fall short.

Malkin, Thornton, Chara, Bergeron were all league wide elite players at one point in their careers which spanned a long time. All very deserving players.

i agree with all these. except just williams, hes more of a maybe than a sure fire HOF. he was clutch but his career wasnt anything special.

See Chris Osgood as a comparable, personally Osgood imo should be in but wont be anytime soon because of the team he played on was so stacked. Similar to Chi when they won their cups.
