What’s the angle here as to why the Canes would want Reilly? I could make the argument that there are 2 or 3 D in Charlotte that could get a shot in Carolina vs trading for another D.

Fleury and Rieilly are kind of the same quality players, I see it as a free pick.

Reilly is 26 with a 2x$1.5M contract walking right to UFA
Fleury is 23 with RFA status left

Slavin Gardiner and Bean is coming soon, Fleury needs a change. No teams will trade a 2nd for Fleury. Maybe a Fleury vs J.Olofsson 1 for 1 instead

We have several 7th d-men...i just don't see enough value to move Fleury in this trade.
