Just some dumb article I read on facebook. Only stated that Billy G wants to make the team younger and that Staal is the only older player aside from Stalock that has value and could be moved. Guerin I’m sure still has pull with the pens organization and could be interested in a hometown boy like Bjugy

this is pure click bait.
He's way to slow to fit the pens style of play.
Not that they wouldn't dump Bjugstad. No doubt they would.
But not for a 35 year old guy with no legs.

I think his point is that penguins would rather get an asset for the future rather than an aging forward that isn’t an upgrade to the current 3c. McCann is everything you could ask for in a 3c. To the right team Bjugstad could get them a 2nd or a 4th and prospect.

Wouldn't do this if I were MIN. Feel like Staal could bring them more than that, provided that he keeps scoring. At the moment he's still keeping up with being a 50+ point C like he has been for some time now.

Do you think he would consider wearing# 11 if he came to the pens?

i would really like to dig my old Staal jersey out of the closet and get some more use out of it smile
