Why would you take him over Cayden? I honestly haven't watched them.

The fact that he's played well at every stage of his early career. Very fluid, big goalie. Prolly an advantage coming from Finland instead of the NCAA.

No, they are pretty damn close actually . Put up similar numbers at world jrs, Primeau has a .943 save % in the AHL with a bad defensive team. Lindgren has had under .890 there 3 years running.

Primeau is every bit the prospect UPL is.

i think UPL is better as we speak, but CP has a higher ceiling.

I think UPL being a former 1st round pick has the upper edge in "status" only but if we're just talking about pure skill and performance, Primeau is a lot closer than people think.

And UPL has a great attitude, doesn't get down on himself and has great sportsmanship. When Finland won gold at U-20 the first thing he did was console DiPietro. Guy is a thoroughbred gentleman. I have no idea about Primeau's personality but UPL is a class act. https://twitter.com/gmillertsn/status/1080919431939686400

Oh ok i thought he was late 1st but yeah its the draft statuses that may be swaying peoples minds. Primeau is legit. (So is UPL for that matter)

Probably the 2 top goalie prospects in NHL right now, if not the best.

Pretty sure there are a couple better TBH but it all doesn't matter until they are playing in the NHL and proving it first. Projections are nice and all but mean jack until they do something.

well considering UPL has been sent to the ECHL and Primeau has been doing great in the AHL, I'd give the edge to Primeau. But if you were to ask me this past summer I would of said UPL. So I think everyone can agree that it's close.

UPL was sent to ECHL has a rehab assignment after hip surgery . I will wait till both get this year behind them to even try to figure out who has the brighter future.
