what I would do

Description
I think this team is worth spending on but would look at spending on some longer term peices I’m also assuming poolman is our and niku and beaulieu are in

Idk what Murphy is worth so I just made a base. Tell me what I should add and be reasonable

A Wheeler scheifele split up is shoudl now be executed. It was great but I think at this point there are better combinations. Also wheeler with roslovic and ehlers would be dynamite. We’ve also seen that 3rd line before and it is excellent. The 4h could use some improvement but that will come when appleton is back

Murphy is hurt rn so I don't recommend trading for him. Otherwise, he has been our best defenseman and I think he warrants a first-round pick.

Also: i just looked up Luke Green on elite prospects and I have to mention that he is not the type of prospect we need. We have enough RH offensive D-man.

I'd be okay with giving a 2021 1st+ for Murphy.

Why waive Dahlstrom and not Bitetto? Dahlstrom has been pretty solid actually, I don't get why he's getting scratched, he and Pionk made a pretty good pairing.

Green was moved more because the ahl is too crowded rn. A first a very steep. How about a 2nd, a 3rd, and green?

A second and a third is a step in the right direction, but we do not need Green at all. I recommend taking him out entirely and adding in a B- level forward prospect preferably someone with speed..

You could just move green for a forward prospect liek a 1 for 1 ish. But I get what you are saying. But look at it from a jets perspective ahl d-corps are:
Stanley-nogier
Heinola-kovacevic
Schilling-gawanke
stoykewych-green
Oligny
We cant have green or gawanke sitting in the pb. Someone needs to go

How about u throw in a prospect (can be a rd who is a few years away) and we add say harkins?

EH... its not too appealing, but I could throw in a Josh Ess. Not sure Harkins is any good though.

He's got two more seasons after this one, I think it's worth, better then throwing it away on another damn rental imo.

Harkins brings quite a bit of nhl upside cause he is a solid playmaker and good in his own zone nothing special tho. But if not him then I really don’t know. Seuss? He’s nhl ready and an rfa.i refrain from giving up spaces because the jets will need him next year and our recent draft picks are preforming too well rn

If you got someone who is fast and NHL ready that would be nice. Doesn't have to be a world-beater just a 12 or 13th forward.
arafay liked this.
