Leafs can't afford EK, not a chance. At this point, not sure anyone wants to touch that contract either.

I know its just a fantasy trade but brace yourself...some Leafs fans aren't' going to be happy about Nylander trade.

Greiss and Beauvillier are not crap. Also Meier had one 60+ point season, you can't be all that sure he'll do it again. Beauvillier atm is playing better than Meier so I can't see NY wanting to change anything thing up, nor give up a Goaltender that has been playing as solid as Griess.

Greiss is a good backup, that's it, especially since he's turning 34 in January. Beauvillier looks fine but has done nothing yet in the NHL to the degree Meier has. Yeah he's having a rough start but 15 games is nothing, same way Beauvillier 13 is nothing.

Meier is having a rough season, I agree that 15 games isn’t enough time to decide anything. But the Sharks are nearly last in the league and have miserable goaltending for two seasons now. Greiss is a former shark and I’ve always loved his game.

I think Beauvillier is a versatile forward with a good amount of upside. I like him for sure.

I think we’ve yet to see the best of Meier. He has the potential to be a 70 point player consistently but chemistry with Couture seems to be gone...well see.

If you're moving Meier out, go get a high end, young goalie. Not a 34yo guy.

My point is NY don't need to change what they have
