This isn’t terrible but it’s probably not what the sharks ask for. Tatar is okay but Poeling isn’t enough to make up the difference between the two in age . I think the sharks ask for a really good and young winger like Drouin if you ask for timo.

I mean, in what way would MTL be better by getting Meier but by losing Drouin. If we are
to get Meier is to add talent to our forward core, not to replace talent

Really we dont want to lose Meier but the second option would sure make it hard to say no

You won’t get tatar and drouin. If the shark where getting drouin in a trade for meier they would have to add a pick. Trading meier now for the shark isn’t the best option since he have a terrible start

You could argue that Tatar is better player than Meirer.....please check Meirer record, and you want the Habs to give up more?

Just be careful when you say he can score 30. David clarkson score 30 goal once and he was a very average players. Meier is a good players with size and skate well enough. Now he hasn’t been stellar since he came to the league on good season doesn’t make you a superstar. But if i am the shark i don’t trade him, i would trade one of burns or karlsson. You can’t have two turnovers machine on the right side that play 25 minutes a night. Basically burns and karlsson are on ice for 50 minutes creating turnovers after turnovers. This isn’t the 80’s no more, team must at least have decent defensive structure. Thats the biggest issues right now
