Barkov isnt russian he is finnish. Alexander romanov is ahead of most if those defenseman. Ilya sorokin is maybe the best goalie outside of nhl. And kyrill kàrisov deserve to be on that list

He is a Russian citizen (dual citizenship between Russia and Finland) but his national team is Finland listed. I’m not sure how he would play for Russia unless he chose to; but he’s listed as a Finnish professional athlete

You could create them. And Barkov choose too defend finland internationally so he doesn’t fits in that team. Brett hull was canadian, to he decided to defend usa. Galchenyuk is american even with is father is russian don’t mix thing out.

Ok Barkov still technically Russian so ill keep him.

Just like I would still consider Hull Canadian and still consider Gally Russian.

So i am american because my mom is born in the usa. Even tough i lived my entire life in canada. Thats cool i try that next time i past the border

And i keep repeating how this is ridicule. He was born in tampere finland. As live almost is entire life there play junior hockey there, professional hockey and he decided to play for them in international competition. He clearly decided that he was finnish.
