if pietrangelo says he doesn't want to re-sign, then st louis could be tempted to move him. they could either flip the picks for a replacement, or hold onto them because the 2020 and 2021 drafts are both absolutely stacked

It’s okay, but I could care less about Mcnabb or Eakin. It’s much more appealing if the Blues get a Hague or a Brannstrom. Either way, I think the Blues hold on to Pietrangelo unless they really fall off or if Tarasenko is our for the playoffs

Sens will say no unless a pick is included that's higher than the ones they are giving up (maybe include a 3rd). They are rebuilding so giving up picks, even lower round ones, for a 4th line UFA enforcer cap dump makes little to no sense.

McNabb is meh, and the Blues have less than zero need for Eakin. There is simply no place in the line-up for him to play.

But as noted above, this is all a pipe dream anyway.
