I think MacKinnon could do well with Nieto and Calvert tbh. Hes used to playing with Landy and Mikko who go into the corners and fight board battles in the offensive zone to get possession, which is similar to how nieto and calvert play. Obviously nieto and calvert wont be able to make the same sort of offensive plays as landy and mikko but if they can just get recover the puck in the offensive zone then give it to mack and let him do the rest then I think it could work. Then put Kadri back with donskoi and burakovsky and hope they can play like they were a few weeks ago. I would try these lines out, maybe not for a full game but for at least a period to get something going:

Nieto-MacKinnon-Calvert
Burakovsky-Kadri-Donskoi
Kamenev-Jost-Compher
Nichushkin-Bellemare-Megna

That's kind of the reason i had donskoi on macks line. I thought they worked well, he did the dirty work and headed to the front of the net after getting the puck. It wouldn't surprise me if it was another game of mixing and matching though, bednar seems a little lost without his stars.
