Add quite a bit on AZ's end IMO.

I think this is way to much for Coyotes to give up for Matthews, 2020 is one of the strongest drafts ever, I think if you left the 1st out, they might. Interesting to see what other non Toronto people think.

Honestly, I appreciate the creativity, but I don't love the deal unless that 1st round draft pick is unprotected and Arizona's final spot in the standings lands us with a top-10 overall pick. Even so, not sure I am sold on the deal. I actually thought my very outside-the-box Leafs Blues deal of Matthews and Ceci for O'Reilly and Parayko was fair in both directions considering long term vs. short term gains and losses. Anyway, always appreciate creative deals around these parts.

for that price it's definitely worth handling his off-ice shenanigans. az says "yes please" and has a handler waiting for him on the tarmac

Chychrun, Hayton, Soderstrom and like 2 1sts is a minimum requirement for Matthews to even get some talk started. In other words.. he is not getting moved.

Matthews probably won't get traded if Keller isn't involved in this kind of trade
But you have Dvorak, so it should be fine

You clearly undervalue Matthews...

Yes that could be as well. My logic is what is a legit 1st pairing D on a **** team year after year that averages 14 goals 40 points 82 games 24 minutes per night a year worth in today's NHL? Apparently not as much as a forward that averages 40 goals/70 points a year. I am not saying I am right, just my thoughts on my logic.

OEL's good, but I think when it comes to value and efficiency, Matthews is a TOP5 center in the league.

People said Draisaitl is over valued when he signed at 8.5 million, not sure Matthews at 11 million is good value!

Probably not, but it's not like Leafs would've got a better deal for him in any circumstance.
