Doesn't make sense for MIN to do this. even though they shouldn't, they are still going for it with all of their money tied of in vets. If they are going for it they aren't trading a young, cheap, top 6 player for a bottom 6 player and a prospect.

God I hope not, I thought Wild fired Fenton. Really wouldn't make sense for Wild.

See that article is dumb to me since the Wild's beat writer has said Guerin has talked to basically every team about every player on the Wild. I guarantee you Guerin has talked many times with his previous employer and every Wild player's name has come up. Right there you can say what the writer of this article said and that GMJR "inquired" about Fiala, or Donato, or Zuccarello, etc. because he's inquired about every player.

Fiala to the Pens makes zero sense for the Wild to me unless it's for their 1st round pick since both teams are looking to get younger.

this is the same website that said JJ was going to COL, and that it was hard for the penguins to move DeSmith.
It's click bait.

Furthermore, from a trade perspective. You couldn't pry ZAR off this team right now. He's bee lights out all year.
He's got a 58% corsi while starting 69% of his shifts in the defensive zone.
You must be bat shiz crazy to think they are breaking that line up.

If he costs a first PIT better hang up and reject, I just think this is a trade that rightly just won't happen

ZAR has been good this yr but like always it will NOT last - Trading High on him bc he will never have more value... He is a solid player that cant finish and gets hurt 3-4 times per yr IMO, but he still has upside but if u can trade him "buy high" type deal for Fiala... well id take him to MIN myself.

I agree and I wouldn't trade Fiala either but talked to another Pens reporter about Fiala and he said - GMJR originally wanted him in the almost Kessel deal & it wouldn't surprise him if JR is checking on him again bc once he wants a player, he usually doesn't stop. I'm just excited bc I'm a huge Fiala fan, think i've traded for him like 20-25 times on this lol.

people who constantly knock players should lace the skates up and go play at the NHL level.
He's been a solid player for going on 3 years now. He has nothing to prove.
Trying to say, it won't last, he's always hurt (mind you he got hurt last year punching someone in the head sticking up for his teammates), and that this is selling high is just pathetic.
He's done everything asked of him and he's done it above expectations and truth is there are a lot of teams who would love to have guys like this at low cap hits on their bottom 6, because you can't win games without them.
