Underselling kapanen in my opinion. Just because he is replaceable doesn't mean we should ship him out for less than he is worth.

Having Spezza as regular, gag on that thought. Dillon suddenly adjusts to offside. Years of Kapanen for a season of Dillon. Not productive for the Leafs.

yeah i would rather give a first round pick for dillon over kappy, we know what he is and he will get better. to throw him away on a 1 year rental is not the smartest move in my opinion. he is on a cheap contract and when its over he is still an rfa so he has alot of value and is controllable, with this trade you are just adding another dman to a team who doesnt seem to want to win. also the first round pick will probably take years to develop if they develop at all, and all of these guys are gone next season, muzzin may stay if they throw enough at him.

Dillon isn't worth nearly that much. He is an okay LD on the last year of his contract.
