i dont think dillon is great for this team, hes dirty but he isnt that great overall. i would rather see dermott there and have one of sandin, marincin, gravel or kivalacgbebahme (the finnish FA they signed) fill in on the 3rd pair. i like dahlen but I would prefer to keep kappy

Just a question, and I don't really have a dog in these fights as I'm of the mind that we should stick with the roster we have and give it some more time, but why do we see so many Kapanen trades? I honestly think that ever since he's gone back to 3rw hes been one of our best players game in and game out.

I get that we're deep a rw and shallow on d but given contract values and output/eye test plus trade chip value wouldn't it make more sense to trade Nylander for d help?

Don't get me wrong I like Nylander. But I like Kap too, and given their contracts, production and what they bring to the team I'd rather keep Kapanen.

Of course, given that line of thinking I'd rather trade Marner and keep both of them. But I doubt that happens. I think mitch is a leaf for life.

I think Trevor Lewis would be a great fit on Toronto - solid penalty killer, can play every forward position, a ton of playoff experience. Definitely an improvement over shore and Gauthier.

Dillon trade is not a dubas move and I’m not sure if he’d be such an upgrade over Ceci. If we’re going to move kapanen I’d rather bite the bullet and add a few more pieces for a true top-4 guy

Leafs decline Sharks trade IMO, Kapanen can fetch more.
