I would prefer to push that pick another year or even two for that matter. Sharks are an aging team with a pretty bad prospect pool. I don't think it will turn around either with aging players on pretty big contracts. Gotta think that in 2-3 years there is a good chance that it becomes a lottery pick.

edit: this is what I always do in EA NHL.. find the oldest teams that contend and trade for their picks in 3-4 years

I think the Rangers can get a little more. Especially since Dell would most likely be moved to AHL Hartford. Dell has negative value and Georgiev is among the top young Goalies in the league, in my opinion.

That's a pretty big unnecessary risk. They could easily be a playoff team by then also. Just takes a little luck. Either way, I think SJ would be wise to put lottery protection on any of their 1st round picks going forward now that they've gifted Ottawa their 1st this year.

I think NYR would be better off simply trading to a team that has a 1st this year instead. Not like there aren't any suitors for Kreider anyway.

If your opinion is that NYR could get a little more, what’s YOUR opinion (don’t wanna hear any others) about switching Kreider with Strome and sending Kreider to Another team for this years 1st?

i'm not saying that they could get a little more, i'm saying that it may be in our interest to sub in a 1st rounder in say 2023 or 24 due to the age of a lot makeup of the current sharks team (specifically the age of some of their players)
