I am not undervaluing him. I know what he is and what he does. But in the end he’s an undersized, 26 year old, 15 point d man that is at best mediocre in his own end. He’s a 4/5. Certainly not the 5-6m guy that many seem to think. 3.5 - 4 maybe. Seriously if this guy was from Latvia people could see him as is. The same people that think Grizz is worth 5+ would be running Krug out of town if he was a 15 point guy. Hell many want him gone now and would keep Grizz over him. Crazy. To each their own i guess.

There is a big difference between defensive capabilities of grz and krug. ive been running krug out of town since 2016 when they gave him 5.25 aav. Krug is only really worth his money for the power play. and i would argue anybody could qb this pp given the opportunity. as you said to each their own.

In what universe is Toffoli worth a first? He hasn’t done anything the last couple years to justify that. I doubt Sweeney will give a first to dump Backes anyway.

And the Blues may have won in 6 games if they called the missed calls in Game 3 on Boston (interference on Clifton and slash by Coyle) which led to goals by Boston early on. Just because a call is missed doesn’t mean they’ll win.
