I think rangers are really solid on the right side and their right defensemen depth is one of our brighter spots for now and future with Trouba, Fox, and Deangelo... its our left side that needs fixing so idk if faulk is who we need

Justin Faulk just signed a 7 year extension which included a full no trade clause being added onto the final year of his current contract. St. Louis is not trading Faulk. But even if they were, Rangers are looking for a 1st round pick and a prospect. Similar to the Keven Hayes trade at last years trade deadline.

Makes some sense but I think the depth that Faulk provides on D is more important than adding a top 6 winger. Considering Blues have a plethora of wingers in the system.

I think Faulk is straight trash, so I’d do this deal

I think it would be more like 2 NHL ready top 6 fwd prospects. In any case Faulk is a hard NO

Because of the cap implications, this would be very tempting for me. I would almost certainly do it if the Rangers slightly sweetened, which seems only proper considering Kreider is a pending UFA and Failk is signed for seven years. However, I assume Army would laugh it off.

Nah I would ever do that for a rental. Rental for a extended player makes no sense for the blues.
