Way I see it, Pietrangelo has settled in St.Louis very well. He had triplets last year. He has established a good atmosphere in the locker room as the Captain for the Blues. Now that being said there is still a chance he would leave St.Louis for Toronto or maybe another place, but it's only a 10% chance in my honest opinion just because he has settled so well in St.Louis, and already having a cup, and still having more chances at cups this year.
Dunn I feel has the capability to be better, so I think a shorter term deal for 5.5M is reasonable, and if it is where he does amazing I wouldn't be too upset if it were to be a restructured contract. Vince Dunn will probably play solid minutes on top line with Pietrangelo next year if we do want to keep it where they play together, but even if not Parayko-Dunn is a very solid pairing as well.
Bouwmeester, LaLeggia, Lappin, Nolan, and Vecchione are all let go.
If Brayden Schenn were to agree to move to Left Wing, I would have no issue with moving Thomas to 2nd Line center, and having Schenn play as his Left Wing or Schwartz even switching the 2. Keep Perron 2nd Line Right Wing at that point, but at this point don't really know the expectations of him.
Klim Kostin, Jordan Kyrou are both in it for that Left Wing Spot taking De La Rose spot, but also putting Sanford spot up for grabs I know that people would sort of agree with me, so I have him traded because I just think we have better players we could look to rather than De La Rose and Sanford. That being said if it were to come to that point Blais Barbashev Sundqvist would probably be that checking line.
Joshua can be a solid Middle 6 Center who is very grindy look for him to be a huge part of the team in the future, Alexandrov is basically the same so we have a plethora of Center, would look to add more Defensive Prospects, and more Winger prospects. Goalie Prospect aren't needed right now, but I am huge on Ellis. Perunovich should be good in the next few years will probably take over Gunnarsson soon, and Tucker is also another guy you could look at. Tucker-Perunovich could be a great depth pairing.

Bozak has a 10 team No trade list submitted on January 31st, 2021. Blues most likely if want to keep Pietrangelo on a fairly decent deal will have to ship Bozak out. He could be shipped out to someone on the Atlantic Coast, but imo I would look to see if Los Angeles Kings would take him with a fairly decent compensation such as a 3rd Round Pick, and a prospect that is decent. I could see Los Angeles doing it to get more of a pool going and a growing Draft capitol.
In the expansion draft we would ship off Steen, I would look into giving up a 2nd Round Pick and Ville Husso to the Expansion team, that way they have a good Goalie Prospect they can look on (sort of like Vegas with the whole Subban thing) and that way we would have the space to sign Pietrangelo.
Bortuzzo has pretty much lost his spot on the defense. It's hard to work with him because Reinke is looking more and more ready each game I see him play. I think he is ready to obtain some 3rd Pairing minutes if he is sheltered by Gunnarsson. Toronto could use some needed depth in their defensive squad. They have the offense needed to produce at a high expectation, but need some defense to play with it. I believe that Bortuzzo can provide some much needed solidity on the blueline.
I don't see Sanford having a spot on the roster. I think that if it were in other circumstances that we didn't have both Kyrou, and Kostin ready it would be a lot different, but it isn't. I think a 3rd is fair if people think a lower pick is more of the deal, I'm fine with that too.
i'm gonna be honest, i don't know why seattle would take that trade. husso is a fine prospect but STL is going to wind up in a terrible expansion spot and will have to expose someone significantly more valuable than a B prospect and a pick.

Actually Kyrou is exempt because he only played a certain amount of games in the and has only played 2 years if he plays the next 2 season (you need to have 3 NHL years to be eligible) he is exempt from the expansion draft which is why they didn’t move him up the entire year last year. If the Blues resign Petro, leave Faulk exposed. It will be interesting to see what happens with Kyrou if he can’t establish himself
