Well yea I expect him to come around too, but that's not the point of moving him. The point is this team sucks and we need draft picks. This draft is really deep so any pick around the 20-23 range, you will still be getting a damn good player. AA is a 25 year old RFA with a 30 goal season under his belt and the same agent as Marner. By the time the WIngs are ready to compete, he will be an overpaid winger closer to 30 years old. Plus he is horrible anywhere besides the offensive zone. But he is probably the only player on this team that can get a 1st round pick besides one of the core (Larkin Mantha Hronek Bertuzzi) so he goes. I like AA a lot and think he's fun to watch, but this is just the reality of being on a terrible team. You trade good players for picks. Also Hirose hasn't really done much like he did last year, and the longer it goes on the lower his stock goes. We have plenty of 3rd/4th line guys to take his place for next year (Svechnikov). Holland never wanted to move Glendening, but with Stevie I could see him getting moved. A little less now that he has an "A" but still. Daley, not as much. He is old and injury prone, not really fit for playoff hockey anymore. I would be surprised if any team wants to waste a future asset on him. If Kuffner gets moved, it will probably be in some package deal that you can't really predict, but I could see it as well.
