We would probably part with Green just for the 3rd honestly, but the 4th is nice too

Just curious as to if you’re a jets fan. Really no reason to add Kovalchuk imo, I’d rather have roslovic in the top 6 than give up a 1st to get Kovalchuk. Also for green, probably not the best choice. I’d rather have poolman (who is gonna be playing tomorrow). Also beaulieu would be in over Bitetto.

A lot of these choices are just not great.

No I'm a Penguins fan. I'm from Manitoba and follow the Jets. But they are only my 2nd favourite. I know what you mean though. 2 old guys and Petan aren't much of an upgrade for Wpg.

Even with retention there's no chance I'd part with a 1st for Kovalchuk

That Kovalchuk deal would get Chevy fired and Blake extended. Kovalchuk would be nostalgic for Thrashers fans but it makes no sense for the jets. He's old, overpayed and has lost a step. Plus the jets are stacked on the wings. Giving up a 1st if just laughable...the guy might go on waivers just to get rid of his salary
