I doubt the Leafs would trade both Johnsson and Kapanen. Kapanen is more likely to get traded but definitely not both.

If you look at some rudimentary stats, the Leafs would be trading the three best players. Yep that includes Ceci over Hamonic. This trading of Ceci at all cost is kinda ridiculous. I really don't know how replacing Ceci with Hamonic is all that productive if at all. Hamonic replacing Holl is more needed by the Leafs for on the ice value.

I'd argue that Holl is more valuable than Ceci at this point. He's bare minimum contract and has been very good. I'm not sure why Babs still doesn't trust him as much as Ceci who I think is soft in front at times, he's also not a very good penalty killer, he needs to be used less while I think Holl might be able to take on more than he is.

Ceci has had his good and bad momments just like all the other Leafs D. People just like continue the narrative of Ceci being completely bad which obviously is not the case.
Personally, I think he is getting better the more he plays and the TSN broadcast pointed that out during the LA game.

I don't mind trading him but at same time I'm not hell bent on doing it either.
