Ok Edmonton, here is a chance to boost the bottom 6 at the cost of nothing. Can move around wherever, the kid just needs a chance and Oilers need a change. Worst case he's horrible gets waived and sent down and lights it up in the minors helping create a winning mentality on the farm

Leafs Fan here - I really agree that they should pick him up. Their bottom 6 is doing nothing and he can score and he can play. I think this is the exact type of thing Edmonton could benefit from! Hope they do it (for their sake). Hope they don't as a Leafs fan!

Yzerman is picking up reclamation projects and so should Edmonton, seriously it's about as low risk as it gets, if he doesn't work out he's a good AHL player.

Crazy that they didn't take a flyer on Ho-Sang as well.

Oilers are at 48 contracts, so that would be the only concern. However, if the team falters they'll be trading as many players as possible at the deadline, and if they don't play Haas he'll head back to Europe, so I'm comfortable going to 49.
