I know it’s not going happen unless the sharks shake up the roster (mainly move out some D as were kinda full right now with 6 confirmed guys) but I want a legit Marc Methot/ Radim Simek for Erik Karlsson, I’ve always liked Simek but for those who don’t watch the sharks he’s a major positive impact for us. I didn’t think hed make such an impact coming back but he has and he is noticeable almost always a good way and really changes a currently defensively poor team, which I’m real happy to see for him, earning a pay this coming offseason. We need that for Karlsson. Because Simek really makes an impact and right now Vlasic isn’t successful with top 4 time, maybe he’d be better suited with ferraro as shut down 3rd pair but that forces Dillon (Or Ferraro) into the top 4, dillon isn’t quite a Simek he’s similar but different, and I don’t want to force Ferraro into a role that makes his job covering for Karlsson which is a mighty task (who played well until that 3rd where I don’t even know if Simek coulda saved that 3rd period Karlsson). Ideally we’d move Vlasic for assets, see if we can extend Dillon for nothing more then 3 (unlikely so he’ll walk after playoffs or TDL if Vlasic stays); and add a top 4 shutdown LD

Maybe Brodin. Haven't heard any rumors from the Wild beat writer about Brodin being available or anything, but Guerin has maintained the fact that if there's a trade that he believes can improve the Wild, he will do it no matter the player

Maybe, maybe not. Hard to say for sure. I know Guerin likes him a lot but he only has 2 years remaining on his deal. He could be a nice little pick up for the Sharks if the Wild decide to sell off pieces. I bet Brodin - Karlsson would be an amazing pairing

I don’t think the sharks could offer anything more then what I suggested in my most recent (assets are split up but you can see)

Scandella hasnt been bad, he is the odd man out right now. Sabres have 9 NHL dmen for 6 spots.
