What reason does Anaheim have to trade 2 of their best players?

I don't see any reason.

That trade doesn't make sense for them considering they have a team that make the playoffs with a healthy roster and given that this trade absolutely horrendous for them

Absolutely no to the Anaheim trade from a Buffalo standpoint. Minnesota passes

So you want a top 10 LD AND a top line winger, and you're sending back a potential 1C, but likely not, especially with the insane C depth ANA already has in their system, nothing, a LD which, even without lindholm they still don't need another one, a maybe bottom pair d man, I'm really really low on Ryan Johnson, and a late first... There is literally nothing there that gets you Rakell alone, much less lindholm, (meaning I wouldn't do Rakell, especially the way he's playing this year, 1 for 1 for Cozens) an I wouldn't trade lindholm for this whole package, much less lindholm AND Rakell

Anaheim would consider Olofsson, Jokiharju and your 2020 first for Rakell. We're not interested in a LD unless you're offering Dahlin, and you're not.

Lindholm isn't available to you guys because you don't have the assets we need that would be equivalent to his value without trading us Eichel or Mittelstadt, which you're not.

It's not even funny how much of a homer you are at this point
