No one is untouchable lol. If EDM came to TOR and said, "hey we'll give you McDavid + RNH for Matthews" you can bet the house that Dubas is taking the deal lol.

What a dumb comment, the post was made at a realistic standpoint. Edmonton would never do that so its unrealistic and achieves nothing.
Thats like him saying "I'm not going to give away $10" and you responding with "I bet you would if I gave you $15 to give me 10." See how stupid that comment looks

Listen if Wayne Gretzky isn't untouchable, there isn't an single player in the NHL that is untouchable. "Untouchable" are more like you need to overpay to get them. So no I don't see how stupid the comment is. I do see how stupid it is to think that a player is "untouchable" when its simply not the case. Untouchable means you're not trading them no matter what.

I really don’t see anyone in the league as Untouchable.....that being said there are a lot of players who wouldn’t be moved because the expected return would seriously deplete the other team in the trade to the point it’s probably not worth it. The LW column posted above falls into that category.

Not really lol. Again untouchable mean the team wouldn't trade them for anything. There is a package that every GM will trade every player for. That package may never come to fruition, but that doesn't mean a player is untouchable.
