MN passes. They gain nothing from the trade. Foligno is useful to them Sheary is not.

Sheary is fine enough, and gives them some speed in their forwards that Bruce is looking for.

I think Ullmark would be very attractive for CBJ

Foligno is a good PKer, plays a physical game, and has been one of the main reasons in the improvements in JEE and Greenway's games.

The Wild aren't going to out-skill any other team in the league, they need to grind out wins. The speed BB talks about is more from passing (which has been awful) than skating.

Besides the midget LHS wing spot has already been filled by Zuccerello. There isn't much that separates Sheary from Donato and Fiala, who the Wild already have. Except the Wild have no team control over Sheary (UFA).

Sheary fits with the Wild worse than Byron (who MTL fans keep trying to dump off on MN).

I think Columbus would be more interested in UPL then in Ullmark. Ullmark isn’t any younger then Korpisalo is.

Minnesota is filled with great pkers, knowing you cant out skill other teams youd think you would want to move one of these 4th liners for a skilled winger. But i know your bias towards Foligno

UPL is a lot more expensive. And Ullmark has been better than Korpisalo, .915 v .896 while averaging less shots per game than Buffalo and having an arguably better defensive coach and system

It’s also about potential and prospects. Ullmark is also a backup to a 30+ Hutton and a stopgap for them to UPL, Korpisalo and Ullmark are basically the same at that point, neither have turned out to what they were supposed to be. Yes, you’re going to homer and say Ullmark is good but he’s also 25-28 years old. Korpisalo is 25. We’d want someone you get then Korpisalo and Merzlinkins. UPL is the only goalie buffalo has that would interest us enough to to consider moving Anderson for.

Unfortunately, it is possible only Olofsson or UPL will be able to give us Anderson as the basis of the deal, players like him are too valuable in the market.

He has 2 points in 15 games. Even then he would never be worth UPL or Olofsson. Thats asinine

He has 2 points in 15 games. And of course youre going to be greedy and ask for UPL. Ullmark is being universally praised by national hockey media for his ability to keep Sabres in games they dont deserve to be in. He has been a lot better than his stats show and this is not coming from a biased Sabres veiw point. How you describe Ullmark shows me you dont know what youre talking about

An unsuccessful start of the season, it happens, in the past season he had 27 + 20, and most importantly, he gives speed and physical strength. I would not trade Olofsson or especially UPL for him, we just need to look for other options.

Foligno gives them a big body forward, which Bruce loves.

Their PK was awful last year until Foligno was put on it, who helped turn that around so no, they're not filled with great PKers.
