The dude's so injury prone, that contract just scares me.

I agree, I just think this is a realistic trade. I do think hall will age well, I don’t think he will decline as fast as other players in their 30s but yeah injuries are a concern.

If primeau pans out and they draft that defenseman drysdale with their 1st rd pick, NJ will be dangerous in 3 years.

Yikes I wouldn't give up Prime if I were Montreal, or give Hall an 8 year deal because of his injury history and I believe we could see him like a Parise, where offensively he can still be great/very good I feel like those injuries will continue to pile up and could be seen as an albatross similar to E.Karlsson

Just because a team host a NHL draft doesn't mean their pick is untouchable. Couple years ago, the Devils traded their 9OA pick to the Canucks for Cory Schneider

2020 1st hold more value than the 2021 1st rd pick + the draft is in MTL

I’d argue the 2021 1st has more value. If MTL trades for hall before the deadline, they will be in a position where they think with the addition of hall they will get at least a wild card spot. Anything can happen next season, what if price gets hurt or something else goes wrong, they could end up a lottery team. Look at what happened to Ottawa , a team with mark stone, Matt duchene, and Erik Karlsson.

I’ve heard from a close person to taylor Hall that he will not sign a extension this year. He will test the market since he want to choose where he will play. So forget about that trade. If the habs want him they won’t trade nothing and waut for july 1 to make their best sale pitch
