He's not a free agent. If he gets traded his only option is to get suspended without pay or to play.

Any move that forces the Wild to play Dubnyk more is a good move for the future of the franchise! If he continues to let in softies, the Wild get better draft position. If he gets hot, hopefully they would be smart enough to trade him for futures before he fades again. It’s an absolute can’t-lose hand...as long as it’s played right!
