That's overpay actually. Using last year's Stone deal as a template, I'd say Wahlstrom, Komarov, and a conditional second is good

But that was to a team in a different conference, let alone a team an hour away in the same division, so I would think the price would be more than what OTT got for Stone if NJ traded in the division.

There was actually a conditional 1st if he was traded to the east. So I think that says something. I think NJ takes the deal as posted here.

The prospect involved in the stone trade was a top 15 nhl prospect. Bellows isnt even a top 50, and maybe top 100 so is value have not the same impact as for branstrom. If you want to make a similar trade its would be dobson over whalstrom. That how much vegas gave for stone.

I am actually cut from the cloth that believes that. I think he has something to bring to a young team like the Devils or a team in transition like the Isles were last season
