Honestly, they do not get anything valuable other than the first round, I think the deal will look different.

I agree. As much as I would love to see Botterill make this trade, it would never happen due to the significant difference in value.

I know Buffalo fans will not like to hear this, but I would consider Mittelstadt and Fiala fairly close in value. Both high 1st round picks. Both very skilled, soft players. IF Mittelstadt can stick at center, and the fact he is a couple years younger...he has more value, but not a ton. That said, even though I am a huge Gopher hockey fan, I don’t know that I’m all that interested in Mittelstadt...unless he can play center - that’s a difference maker for the Wild. I also think that Zucker for Ristolainen is a fair deal. So, maybe Ristolainen and Mittelstadt for Zucker’s, Fiala, and...something? On paper this trade probably looks crazy, but on ice I don’t think it’s TOO far off.

Mittelstadt is definitely not being moved. Botts won't move him and Fiala and Zucker have kinda regressed so the times don't match up there.
