Re-sign Frk and grab something cheap from Minny + a pick for Bjugstad. Those will be your two depth forwards.

    I wouldn't trade Lègarè if I'm Pittsburgh.

Although the long term outlook would be horrific as even if the cap increases 2 million, that leaves only 10 million to re-sign 9 players, including Marino, Lafferty, and Jarry

I feel like that's more than enough to resign those guys. pens won't have any difficult decisions to make until Letang/Malkin are up for new contracts

I know, but u gotta give up something to dump JJ. I hate the pens fans who think teams will take him for free. its just not reality

Malkin will probably be willing to take a league minimum deal to stay with the Penguins. He’s already made all his earnings as a player.

I don’t think that’s enough. With how Marino is playing, he is gonna command at least 2-3 million, Jarry will get between 1-2 million, same with Lafferty with consistent playing time. So you’re looking at like 5 million at most to sign 6 players after that. Cutting it extremely close.
