If Granlund is one of your centers, you're going to have a bad time. In the right system, he is great on the wing. My theory on why he hasn't been succeeding in Nashville is because they run a fast-paced track-race offensive game where players use their speed to make explosive plays and score off the rush. Granlund is not that type of player, he needs to be on a team that plays a possession game in the offensive zone where he can set guys up and make plays. I haven't watched Montreal much this year so I'm not sure what their offensive strategy is, but any team looking to acquire and revitalize Granlund should know that's the type of game he needs to play to thrive.
