Not sure Tippett is 100% sure on Persson just yet so I doubt Larsson will be moved until the offseason

Not a huge Columbus follower, but to me it would seem awfully weird to trade Josh Anderson for a guy that’ll either play 3rd pairing minutes, or push Savard back.

Larsson is good, but he’s not what the Jackets need.

There's no way Columbus is trading an RFA in Josh Anderson for a season and a half of Larsson, a cup contender MIGHT make a trade like that but the Jackets won't.

The Oilers were really dumb for not trying to land Namestnikov, could've got him for a bag of pucks and he's miles better then any forward they have other then McD, Drai, RNH and Neal.

Must have been an issue with cap even with the 750k retained Oilers would have had to send a small dump like Granlund (225k in AHL) or run with a roster of 22 which is hard for a Western team. Either way with Smith playing well he might hit quite a few of his bonuses which would hurt the team next year
