I see Georgiev a lot on here... Two thoughts - Is he the guy to take over from Hank? I genuinely do not know if thats how they view him, and Hutch doesn't have to be traded. He can go down and play in the minors. Doesn't have a lot of if any value to any team - unfortunately I think that was his last shot in the National league.

I am not sure, i don't follow the NYR a ton but hes a Top 5 backup in the league IMO. The reason i traded hutch is if TOR trades for another goaltender then need to trade one. They would be over the max number of goaltenders under contract if they receive a goaltender in any trade/freeagency without getting rid of one they currently have under contract

Got it. I think they need sandpaper, and the perfect trade partner is LA - some rugged wingers with championship pedigree. I think if those guys came in as support, the Leafs would play heavier. They need to fill the void with what Kadri used to bring...
