What would you be willing to offer for Voracek

Created by: DH28Hockey
Team: 2020-21 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 12, 2019
Published: Nov. 12, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Due to cap implications and the fact that Frost looks extremley close to taking a top 9 spot on this team, it would make sense that Voracek may be on the move this summer. What would you be willing to give up in a trade for Voracek?

Idk who's gonna take that contract, it's just so much money. I don't think Voracek is the type of player you need to tie picks/prospects to, but Philly is probably gonna have to retain a bunch of money in any deal

if the flyers want to continue to be in playoff contention, they won't be trading one of their star players. he can have pitlick or raffl's top 9 spot before you consider moving voracek. as for cap implications, the only player of some prominence that has an expiring contract for next season is braun, who wouldn't take much to resign- that is if you even want to resign him instead of playing hagg or Myers- who both are expiring, but haven't earned much more than they are earning now

I think if philly retains 2 mill, you can probably get a 3rd or 4th rd pick.

All comes down to the moolah exchanged. No team is taking him on without a decent amount going back. That's the tricky part. Finding some good players you'd want that have some cap attached to them that the other team is willing to part with in the trade.

I’d listen to offers at the very least. A package that included an expansion exempt defender and pick(s) I’d listen to. If he’s moved we could deploy a top 9 of the following

Giroux/Coots/Farabee
JVR/Hayes/ TK
Lindblom/Patrick/Frost

We probably have to find someone to take on either his salary or JVR (probably with us retaining some money back on either guy). The way Lindblom is playing, he's going to be looking at a $3M or $4M raise because he is playing lights out.
