This trade would be a massive mistake for the Ducks

We have no defensive what so ever. Without Lindholm and Manson we’re toast. We still have loads of great prospect ( Zegras, Groulx, McLaughlin, Steel, Jones and many others)

So lets add more LHD because it's not like we don't have an abundance of them.....

Giving up potentially Lafreniere on top of Terry, Ritchie and a second for a LD (which we don't need) to try and "fix" the roster this season would be horrible mismanagement. Ghost would not make us a playoff team

You’re daily ducks trades are getting worse and worse. The ducks aren’t making any moves right now what so ever. They either stay afloat the next few weeks with Manson out (Lindholm could be back tomorrow) or they take the high draft pick and get after it next season. Next year is when I expect the ducks to be serious in contending for at least the playoffs as they grow to SC contenders. They have plenty of cap and trade pieces to add basically whatever they want.

The ideal time to trade Ghost is right before the expansion draft. Protect Provorov,Sanheim and Myers and add York to the lineup. The Ducks first is tempting enough to consider it of course as it could be quite high. Still think I’d rather hold onto him and move him before expansion.
