Beware of Ryan donato. I think there’s a real solid chance he washes out of the league in a year or two and tears up europe.

Sometimes he’s looked good. Sometimes he’s looked terrible. I’m a bruins fan, and leading up to his trade to the wild, I think he was the worst player at 5 on 5 in the league. It was unbelievably how lost he looked. 34 games, 6 even strength points, turnovers galore, horrible defensive play. I wouldn’t give up a pick above a 4 for him.

There isn’t a player on this list the Sharks should target! Downgrades in every way if one of these guy steps in for one of ours.

Donato probably isn't worth trading for MN, his value (due to his play) is in the toilet. When he's hot he's white hot, when he's not he's a fringe NHLer. Lots of flaws in his game.
Fiala is finding his game, MN should hold on to him for the season to see what he is.
JEE is doing all the right things except putting the puck in the net. The Wild need to keep him and hope he finds his shot, simply because they have nothing else for centers. He'd be a quality 4C for any team.

All of them are buy low players right now.

I'm guessing that the Wild GM is asking a higher price than they are worth right now. After Fenton sold low on everything last year, the new GM won't take anything but a premium for any of the players. He'll probably hold on to everyone and ship off a rental or rental+1 at the TDL. Hire a new coach and make offseason trades for what the coach wants the team to be.

I don’t agree. Young depth guys with potential to grow are always solid. I don’t expect Goodrow to be a permanent solution to the top six issue so if one can grow into a top sixes it would be perfect
