Personally haven’t minded Vesey. I think he just needs to play with NHL hockey linemates. NYR last season had 17 goals. Just get rid of these players and he’s good!

I like Botts. Skinner, Jokiharju, Montour, Miller

One deal crosses all this out, he just trade ROR for two cap dump and an unproven prospect, thereby discarding the team even further from the playoffs, as he still could not find 2C.

Miller looks very bad, for some reason he spent the third round for Jimmy Vesey, who does not even want to play Buffalo. Vesey 14 games 0+2.

Over the summer, he could not find help attack, so we regularly play such players as Sobotka, Rodrigues and Sheary in the top 6.

For three years he could not find goalie number one, at least average, but with experience in this role and much more.

He is patient, not stupid. I for one am glad he isn't selling the farm and giving up on players, that's a recipe for another rebuild. Do I hear a Tim Murray?

Tim Murray was even worse. I'm not saying that all of Botterill’s steps are stupid, and I like that he created the farm, but his sufferance and one key deal was terrible. People are waiting for 8 years of getting their favorite team into the playoffs, and our GM is waiting and is not in a hurry to take steps when he has about 10-12 defenders for 6 places who can play in the NHL, and now other GMs can twist his hands, so as they know that we have so many defenders and we just have to trade them. In the summer, he did not finish his work until the end and now the team and the coach are paying for it, and I said in the summer that it will be so, because we don’t have enough attackers in top 6, to us don’t have enough depth in the attack and no one can score besides Jack line. Botts has its advantages and disadvantages, but at the moment I am pessimistic if he does not make tradees in the next 1-2 weeks.
