I am not making this post to imply that a trade of this nature should happen, nor am I saying that I think that the Blackhawks are winners of this hypothetical trade. Just wondering what people would think of something like this.

Note: Kane would likely commit toaster bath if he lost two of his best buddies in Strome and Cat.

I'm all for enjoying a crisp piece of toast in the bathtub, like any reasonable human being. However, it gets tricky when you take a bath with the toaster... sometimes its just better to be patient.

I'd say the leafs really don't need a guy like Strome since Kerfoot looks really good at 3C. But the leafs take this trade and run, the Cat contract is sooo nice compared to Marners.
