Older players are exactly what the Wild need right now

theres some validity in taking ilyas contract to get kaprizov in the us.

Its certainly better than him never coming to the wild

If that move directly makes him pack up his bags and fly over then sure but I'm guessing the make or break isn't "will an aging Kovalchuk be watching me from the press box?"

obviously this isnt for the player. Its more for the kap. Just someone to help the transition over.

Kovalchuk isn't waiving his NMC, For a Non-Playoff team like the Wild.

Not to sure many playoff teams are gonna be going hard after him. just for next season with a contract. But i get it. not much diff between the 2 teams
