I don't really watch the canes much, I though necas was going to be the 2c, what happened with that?

Thats what everyone was going with. I always knew his first season was going to be on the wing. You may see him get put back at center at some point, like Aho did when the team was short on centers.

But for now hes doing very very well on the wing.

do you think the plan is for necas to take over for Jordan Staal or maybe someone else will? Jordan Staal is still effective as a 2c (And very good defensively) but he is 31and will start to regress sooner than later.

Yes, eventually Necas will move to his natural position and succeed Staal as the 2C. Re-signing Haula would make the transition smoother.
