Well this is too much.

I hope Botts will make a couple of good trades in the near future, although the situation on the market is not easy, but it’s partly his own fault that he decided to leave so many defenders in the lineup after the summer. Now few teams will be ready to trade and not everyone has a place in the cap.

LA isn't retaining $2 million on Kovalcuk while eating Okposo's full $6 million over the next 3 years.

So I guess Buffalo taking on Brown's contract for three years doesn't matter. Look at the whole trade and not just pieces.

LA gets a good contract in return by getting Risto. Prospect or young player in ERod. And rid themselves of Kovalchuck contract.

I think NYR would be interested in Kovalchuck at a reduced rate.
