why not, really... obviously better for Chicago, and may have to throw in more than a 3rd rounder.. but I mean, I would like this option better than what we currently have. if we wait til after Jan, his cap hit will only be 700K too...

So Seabrook at 4 x 6.875M and Kovalchuk at 2 x 6.25M and why does LA do this?

I think before there is a thought of salary retention, somebody needs to drug Seabrook’s drink and convince him LA is the place to be. In other words, not likely going to happen.
