I don’t think the leafs can give up that 2020 2nd, make it 2021 and it’s for sure deal.

Hall as a rental isnt getting you that package.

How is Wayne Simmonds traded for Hartman and a 4th last year but all of a sudden is worth 2 second round picks?

The next two trades are probably close.

Dont think Arizona does the last one, Crouse is thier big boy who runs protection on that team.

That Palmieri trade is really really lousy. Virtanen is a bust- he may top out as a 35-40 pt guy in a bottom 6 role. Meanwhile, Palmieri has been a 25-30 goal scorer since he came to NJ, topping 50 pts in 3 out of the 4 seasons he's been with them. On average, hes scored more goals over the past 4 seasons then Virtanen has total points. This is all before the fact that he's on a team friendly deal and isn't UFA'd until 2021.

I'd probably still do it. Vantanen with Rielly is a legit top pair.

I think the whole idea is colorado is a legit landing spot to sign him long term.

i agree 2 seconds is a bit much maybe, but he's actually been the most consistent forward on the team, i think its close if he continues to be solid

also agree on arizona.

Even with a firesale I see no reason to trade palmieri.
