Walker instead of Petro and Krug

Created by: gokingsgo33
Team: 2020-21 Los Angeles Kings
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 15, 2019
Published: Nov. 15, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Walker is doing very well right now with 9 points in 19 games and hasn't slowed down MUCH. Maybe he is the secondary offensive two-way dman we haven't had since Slava Voynov.

I don't think LA is even on Krug's radar unless they making him the highest paid d-man in the NHL...even then they probably are not. If he leaves Boston I can only see him going to DET.

There's a possibility the Wings won't be able to afford him and everybody loves the LA lifestyle. As listed in the title that is not the premise of this post. I did another version with Krug though.

        Detroit can easily afford him

Detroit can afford him and, no everybody does not "love the LA lifestyle". I've been out to LA a few times for business and I could not be happier to get out of there.

Pretty much everyone does, I'm sorry you had a bad time.. Also that tends to happen on business trips regardless where you go.

Why is it that DET seems like such a likely destination for Krug? I'm not a Bruins fan or Detroit fan so I'm kinda out of the loop on this one lol

Krug is from Michigan, played his hockey and Michigan State and hinted years ago that he'd like to play for DET one day. May never happen, but if Krug were to leave Boston for a non-contender, it would be Detroit.
